Summit Engineering and Construction is currently looking for a Dairy Segment Lead. This position will focus on strategically building unique value for the company within the dairy industry, by cultivating relationships and targeting decision-makers within companies to make needed connections for future business success. The ideal candidate would possess strong interpersonal skills and will provide direction to frontline sales for the company.

Expectations and Objectives:

• Nurturing or developing relationships with keys players and vendors
• Connecting with the top decision-makers within the industry
• Own client relationships and invest deeply in their success
• Evaluate market potential
• Implementation of sales strategies at a region level
• Budget and business planning experience
• Experience working on a multi-function team including sales and production
• Pull in project development team early in project discovery and concept design phase
• Collaborate with external and internal resources to maximize value to clients
• Launching an innovative new product as an offering, ex. QLYFT

Necessary Attributes:

• Deep knowledge and experience within the Dairy industry (5+ years)
• Have a background in agriculture or dairy production
• Exceptional communication skills both written and verbal
• Capacity to travel
• Background in construction (preferred, but not required)
