Minnesota Beef Feedlot Permitting Information

Miles Ridgway, President of Summit Livestock Facilities a DBA and brand of FBi Buildings Inc., has announced the availability of newly published information about the Minnesota Pollution Control Agency (MPCA) regulations regarding the permitting and construction of enclosed beef feedlot facilities in Minnesota. 

According to Ridgway this information is being released by Summit Livestock Facilities to help beef producers who may be unsure of the new and changing beef feedlot permitting requirements in Minnesota.

The information has been written by Nic Rowe P.E. at Pro Ag Engineering of Lakefield, MN, and published by Summit Livestock Facilities as a free service to the beef industry in Minnesota, South Dakota, and Iowa.

Rowe is a licensed engineer in Minnesota and frequently consults with beef producers and other livestock operators regarding permitting and facilities design.
